Classes
General
Suitable for anyone who has had some previous experience of yoga, from those who are fairly new through to seasoned practitioners. (Beginners are encouraged to first become familiar with the basic yoga poses in one of the Gentle classes.)
The classes are designed to help you develop and deepen your practice, introducing you to wider variety of poses and exploring them in greater depth. They’re also about cultivating inner awareness and becoming more aware of the breath.
Modifications and alternative options to poses are always offered to meet each person’s individual needs and level of expertise.
Gentle
Gentle yoga is a gentler style of Hatha yoga, moving at a slower pace and with less intensity. It is for everyone: all ages, beginners, people with reduced levels of fitness or recovering from injuries or with chronic health issues, or anyone wanting to balance out a more energetic yoga practice with a slower one.
Modifications are always offered and props are used where relevant so that people of all fitness levels can practise. Often somatic movements on the floor and breathwork are included.
There is great focus and commitment in these classes, with a real sense of people coming together. Humour, too!
Online
Perfect if you’re strapped for time, or simply prefer practising yoga from the comfort of your own home. Livestreamed classes also mean you can attend wherever you are, whether you’re away or live far afield.
Live Zoom classes are similar to regular yoga classes in that you can still expect personalised adjustments, only on-screen, and the same tuition, with adjustments and modifications given so that poses are accessible to everyone.
